Mitsuo "Mit" Lockrow
Conventional wealth management services offered by large corporate firms never made complete sense to Mitsuo. So after nearly 20 years of working at global investment banking and broker-dealer firms, Mit's entrepreneurial drive and vision to build a new fiduciary wealth management paradigm led to the formation of Cambridge Wealth Management in 2014.
Mit brings more than 20 years of high-level investment and financial planning experience to his role of wealth strategist. Prior to founding Cambridge Wealth Management, Mit was a Vice President with UBS Wealth Management in their Boston and Wellesley, Massachusetts offices. He was responsible for managing institutional and individual portfolios, as well as providing research, financial planning, and investment recommendations. Mit was also certified as a portfolio manager in the select fee-based UBS Portfolio Management Program. Prior to that, he was a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch in their Albany, New York and Cambridge, Massachusetts offices. While at Merrill, he attained their Certified Financial Manager designation and was a Winner's Circle, Executive's Club, and President's Club member. In 2000, Mit was selected for "Pathways to Excellence," Merrill Lynch's exclusive management development program. He began his career in the private client wealth management industry in 1995.
Mit holds a B.A. from the University of Kansas with a concentration in Political Science and East Asian language and culture. After graduation, he continued his Asian studies at Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin in Tokyo, Japan. In 2007, Mit earned the Certified Financial Planner™ designation.
