Mitsuo Lockrow is portfolio manager and wealth strategist for Cambridge Wealth Management.
Before founding Cambridge Wealth Management in 2014, Mr. Lockrow served as a Vice President of Investments at UBS from 2001 - 2013 in their Boston and Wellesley, Massachusetts offices. As a Portfolio Manager in the select UBS Portfolio Management Program, he delivered excellent risk-adjusted performance and embraced a holistic approach to wealth management. He also provided trading services and investment recommendations to regional bank and trust companies.
From 1996 - 2001, Mr. Lockrow was a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch. During his tenure, he earned the Certified Financial Manager designation and consistently ranked in the first quintile, achieving Winner's Circle, Executive Club, and President’s Club recognition levels.
Mr. Lockrow holds a B.A. from the University of Kansas. After graduation, he earned a Japanese language certificate from Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin in Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Lockrow also completed the education program at the College for Financial Planning and earned the CFP® designation. In 2019, he opted to forgo his CFP® certification and FINRA Series 6, 7, and 24 licenses, choosing to focus his practice on fee-only investment strategies that seek to deliver excellent risk-adjusted returns.
