Mitsuo E. Lockrow is the portfolio manager and founder of Cambridge Wealth Management. He is responsible for the firm’s research and investment management as well as overseeing all mission-critical operations of the firm.

From 2001 - 2013, Mr. Lockrow was a Vice President of Investments at UBS in their Boston and Wellesley, Massachusetts offices. Certified as a Portfolio Manager under the select UBS Portfolio Management Program, he managed institutional and private client portfolios with a risk-attentive approach. Mr. Lockrow also provided investment recommendations and trading services for regional bank and trust companies.

From 1996 - 2000, Mr. Lockrow was a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch’s Albany, New York office. In 2001, he moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts to help launch a new branch. During his tenure at Merrill, he earned the Certified Financial Manager designation and achieved Winner's Circle, Executive Club, and President’s Club recognition levels.

In 2020, Mr. Lockrow chose not to renew his CFP® certification, along with his Series 6, 7, and 24 FINRA licenses, to focus his practice on fee-only investment management. Mr. Lockrow holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Kansas and also studied East Asian culture and Japanese. After graduation, he continued his studies in Japanese language and culture at Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin in Tokyo, Japan.
